Process

The Process all starts with my references.

The top left was the primary piece. Other images were used to collect information not clear in the main reference.

My First step was to create the form and shape of my texture. Starting with the larger structure, and gradually working down to finer details.

This takes up the majority of the process. If my shape isn't perfect it's going to let down the rest of the process; no amount of good colour and metallic will fix a bad foundation. Especially since I use a lot of this detail later for blending colour well.

Colour and Metallic

With the geometry up to a standard I was happy with, I proceeded with the colouring stage. Utilizing the data already created previously to aid in this process.

Metallic and Roughness followed the same procedure.
Leaving only touching up and refinement, the rest of the project was straightforward.
